What is LegalDirect ? LegalDirect is a company that introduces potential clients with quality assured solicitors that are specialists and experts in a variety of legal areas. LegalDirect has a network of quality assured expert and specialist solicitors around the country. Depending upon your requirement we will recommend the most appropriate local solicitor for you. We save you time and money in finding the right solicitor for you at the right price. How do I know that the solicitor you recommend is going to provide a good quality service? All our solicitors are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We have contractual arrangements with all our solicitors. We ensure that these solicitors have minimum standards of quality assurance. We seek out specialists in their field, so that you get the expert that you need. We operate a quality feedback system that ensures that we know precisely how well the solicitors we recommend are performing. How can your service be free to me? There is no charge to you by LegalDirect. We are NOT paid a referral fee by law firms for successful client introductions, we do not sell your details. Our solicitors are members of our panel and subscribe to that panel. How quickly can you recommend a solicitor? Once you fill in the form, we will contact you by phone or if you are unavailable, by email within the hour. We will need a few more details from you in order to ensure that we find precisely the right solicitor for you. We will then contact our recommended solicitor and they will contact you later that day (or if the recommendation is made towards the end of the day, very soon the next business day). We will be back in touch with you to ensure quality control and to ensure that you are entirely satisfied with the process. Do I have to use the solicitor that contacts me? No, there is absolutely no obligation whatsoever. Solicitors can be expensive, how much is my solicitor going to cost? In the initial call, your solicitor will outline the charge. It may be a fixed fee for all the work, or it may be by way of an hourly charge. Either way, you will be advised at that time. The solicitor will confirm that you will receive a 5% discount on the firm's fees. In contentious cases (where the matter may end up in court) the firm may offer a ‘no win no fee’ arrangement. All solicitors will confirm all the costs in writing to you. Do your casehandlers give legal advice? No. Whilst our casehandlers have considerable legal knowledge we cannot give legal advice.
